A day (night) with Tony & Amanda Wedding

Tony and Amanda had their wedding registration on 09/09/09 at Thean Hou Temple. I am honored to be their photographer that day.

She has a sweet smile whenever I point the camera at her. Whereas Tony is a quiet and cool looking guy (he has the coolest picture of that day too). Thanks for all the meals, both of you is fun to work with. hehe

Wedding day - Nick & Ernie

Waking up early after a long day work the day before was tiring but it is all worth it. I still remember when I first met Ernie. She had a dazzling smile and the instant moment, deep inside my mind “wow, she is pretty!” Of course Nick is has his own charisma and character too. Well, I will stop writing here. These are some pictures that I would love to share.

Truly China, Guilin 桂林山水甲天下

I definitely will visit Guilin again but of course with proper planning. I did regret a bit by following tours because basically is just stop look go. Even worst the tour guide brought us to pearl, gem, silks, tea and knife shop! Now this gave me a bad impression on the tours in China.
Spending a few days in China you will get to talk to lots of people seeing beautiful jaw dropping sceneries. The scent in Guilin is different and this special scent was originating form 桂树 (bay tree), is more like a flower scent (I don’t know how to describe this scent but it smells good).

I left my money there, left my “gold” and left thousands of footprint in this land but I did bring back some unforgettable memories and pictures to share with you all.

Enjoy~

Trip to China

June 6th 2009.
Since the outbreak of H1N1 I was told not go anywhere but staying at home. Well! Do you seriously think that a person that loves photography likes to stay at home? Haha. I was thinking should I withdraw from this trip or not but ended up boarding Air Asia AK102 and on my way to the wonderland.

Morning Flight
Morning Flight
I always avoid seats near wings in order to get a perfect view when landing but this is exceptional for being the first shot of the day. I wish the airplane is 360 degree transparent so that I can shoot whatever angle I want.

China
China
Do you guys know that pumping petrol in China is RMB6.07 for ron 97 which is equivalent to RM3.145 so stop complain about the fuel hike!!!

舞
I think I was lucky to get this shot being at the right time and right position. A slower shutter speed was used to achieve the moving feel.

A place where "liu shan jie" (刘三姐) film. We were force to sing 山歌 with the lady. According to the locals you need to pawn the ladies that you like by singing 山歌 being lyrically strong, and if you win the lady she will marry you but if you lose you have to work as a slave for 3 years. so to sing or not to sing?

Silver Cave

I could not get a wider angle for this to get the WOW effect. When I first stop here for a moment I though " WOW, DEEP!!" but later found out that it was a 2 inch lake. It really makes me feel like I am at the peak of some mountain. In this cave you will get to know 人之初, will not say it here but if you really eager to know more, just visit this cave.
P.S ok, I know the center line is abit off but this is all i can get. enjoy.

why is called west street in the middle of china town? According to the tour guide because lots of foreigner loves to hang around here.
